Mr. Mayur Shah founded Ocean Wealth Solutions (OWS) in December 2013 after getting SEBI’s approval as a Registered Investment Adviser (RIA).
During his initial stint as an Insurance agent in his career, Mr. Shah experienced and listened first hand to the financial problems, questions and helplessness of his prospect clients. The solutions he could offer as an Insurance agent were very few and not completely effective. He felt like a doctor who was limited by the ability to prescribe the same medicine to every patient for different illness/diseases.
That was the turning point of his life as he started studying the topic of personal finances in more detail while always trying to acquire more knowledge for advising in the best interest of his prospect. The result was that he stopped selling Insurance policies and started recommending products as per people’s needs.
He pursued his Certified Financial Planner (CFPCM) certification offered by Financial Planning Slandered Board of India and started working in this industry with reputed firms with fee-based financial planning.
He went on to become a Registered Investment Adviser with SEBI in December, 2013.
His long and rich experience in the ‘Personal Finance’ field of over a decade is at the roots of Ocean Wealth Solutions and its establishment in 2013.
